Snapchat-parent Snap has said that the outgoing US Secret Service Director James Murray will join the social media platform as its Chief Security Officer following his retirement from the service. Murray will start in his new role with Snap on August 1. He will be reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Evan Spiegel.
