The Delhi government informed Assembly that it has spent over ₹15.8 crore on advertisements about Pusa bio-decomposer, which is aimed at combatting air pollution. As many as 56 training programmes were held with an expenditure of ₹4,69,000 to raise awareness among farmers against stubble burning, it added. Another ₹40,000 was spent on purchasing the chemical that converts stubble into manure.
