Over 1,19,000 techies have lost their jobs this year so far, as per data from the tracking site Layoffs.fyi. Some of the biggest layoffs of the year were by Oracle (which cut 21,000 jobs), Amazon (which cut 16,000 jobs) and Dell (which cut 11,000 jobs). The most recent layoffs were announced by Microsoft, which is cutting 4,800 roles.
