Over 1/3rd of internet now written with AI: Study

A recent study by Pew Research suggested that about 35% of webpages published since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022 show significant signs of AI writing or editing. The study analysed nearly 4,90,000 English-language webpages. The findings come amid fears over the "dead internet theory", which suggests online content is increasingly created and consumed by bots rather than people.
