The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has inducted a women-only batch of over 100 disaster combatants and rescuers for the first time. The women, who trained as complete rescuers, have been deployed in Garh Mukteshwar town in Uttar Pradesh. Over 100 women have joined the NDRF as Sub Inspectors and Inspectors in the past few months.
