According to Ministry of External Affairs, over 2.44 lakh passengers returned from West Asia to India since February 28. He added that on March 16, around 55 flights operated from UAE to India, and on March 17 around 70 flights are expected to operate from UAE to India. Flights are also operating from Saudi Arabia to India, he said.
