Human Rights Watch (HRW) has accused the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of "locking up" Afghan asylum seekers for over 15 months. "Living conditions have...deteriorated significantly, with detainees describing overcrowding...and insect infestations," the report said, claiming that the detention facility is in Abu Dhabi. Those in the facility have reportedly not qualified for resettlement anywhere.
