Over 400 years old 'exceptionally large' coral discovered on Great Barrier Reef

An "exceptionally large" coral has been discovered on the Great Barrier Reef that's over 400 years old and nearly two and a half metres wider than any other coral measured on the Reef, Australia's James Cook University said. "We think it's between 421 and 438 years old and predates European exploration and settlement of Australia," an expert said.
