Over 50 people are feared dead in Spain after torrential rains led to flash floods in the southeastern part of the country. In response to the crisis, over 1,000 soldiers from Spain's emergency response units were dispatched to the affected regions and rescue teams utilised helicopters to evacuate residents. The Spanish government has declared three days of mourning for victims.
