Over 500 autorickshaw drivers protesting against bike taxi service in Bengaluru were detained by police on Monday. During the 24-hour strike, around 5,000 auto drivers showed up at CAR Police Ground on Bengaluru's Mysuru Road. Protesting auto drivers also blocked the road near KR Circle. The police detained some of the protestors and released them at 5 pm on Monday.
