Over 600,000 evacuated in China after Typhoon Wipha wreaks havoc

Typhoon Wipha, part of a series of continuous tropical cyclones, has battered East and Southeast Asia over the past few days. It struck Hong Kong on Sunday with heavy rain before making landfall along the coast of China’s Guangdong province, uprooting trees and forcing over 200 people to seek shelter in temporary relief centres.
