Officials at the Chennai Customs Sea Port on Friday seized nearly 6,500 adult toys worth ₹79 lakh, being illegally imported by two Chennai-based firms. The toys were hidden inside other goods in the consignment that included wall clocks and decorative pieces. Officials said the sex toys are prohibited since "they constitute import of obscene representation or figures".
