Over 9,000 Gujarat farmers protest against power line construction

Over 9,000 farmers in Gujarat protested at Morbi Collectorate after being summoned to nominate a valuer for their land over construction of power lines. "It's the business plan of a company...then why is government in their favour and not in that of farmers?” one of the farmers said. They added that compensation doesn't "cover entirety of losses for farmers".
