The Govt has introduced new regulations for obtaining driving licenses, effective from June 1, 2024. Under these changes, private institutions will now conduct driving tests instead of government agencies like the RTO. Additionally, stricter penalties, including fines up to Rs. 1 lakh, will be imposed for violations. The application process has been streamlined as well.
