Oxford urges usage of gender neutral 'ze' over 'he' or 'she'
short by Parichit Mainra / on Monday, 12 December, 2016
The Oxford University has urged students to use the gender neutral pronoun "ze" instead of "he" or "she" when addressing fellow students, reports said. The Students' Union has claimed that the new guidelines are aimed at reducing the risk of offending transgender students. Using the wrong pronoun to address a transgender person is already an offence under Oxford's behaviour code.
