UK health authorities have reported at least ten deaths and more than 7,000 illnesses in those taking weight loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy. Medicines watchdog Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority says while many of the reports of fatalities can just be unfortunate coincidences, the agency does admit that the drugs have had unpleasant and widespread side effects associated with them.
