Pradeep Kumar Sinha, a 1977-batch IAS officer of UP cadre, took over as Cabinet Secretary of the government on Saturday. He succeeds Ajit Seth who held the position for the last four years. Sinha, who served as a Power Secretary before his new assignment, will be working under the direct charge of PM Narendra Modi.
