Eminent journalist and IGNCA President Ram Bahadur Rai received the Padma Bhushan award at IGNCA from Satpal Chauhan, Director General, Ministry of Home Affairs. Unable to attend the Rashtrapati Bhavan ceremony, he was honoured among dignitaries and officials. Known for his decades-long journalism career, Rai has authored several books and previously received the Padma Shri.
