Padma Shri awardee chef Damu passes away

Guinness World Record holder and Padma Shri awardee Damodharan Kothandaraman, popularly known as chef Damu, passed away at the age of 72. His work covered a wide range of Tamil food, including Chettinad dishes, seafood specialities and traditional vegetarian preparations. Chef Damu also authored more than 20 books.
