Osamu Suzuki, the long-time chairman of Suzuki Motor Corp, was posthumously awarded the Padma Vibhushan, one of India's highest civilian honours. He led the company for over 40 years and revolutionized India's car market with the Maruti 800. Suzuki is one of seven recipients of the prestigious award this year.
