At the all-party meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, an Intelligence Bureau officer informed that the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, where the terror attack happened, was opened on April 20 for tourists without informing security forces. The Valley is usually accessible to tourists only from June, the politicians were told. Twenty-six people were killed in the attack.
