A layer of blue paint was seen peeling off in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool weeks after US President Donald Trump announced the completion of the pool's renovation, according to reports. Recently, hydrogen peroxide was also poured into the pool to combat resurfacing algae. The renovation project worth over $14 million (around ₹130 crore) was completed through a no-bid contract.
