Pakistani troops on Wednesday violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked firing on Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in J&K's Poonch district, prompting a befitting response by the Indian Army, PTI quoted security officials as saying. The officials stated that the Pakistani forces suffered "heavy casualties". The exact number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.
