India had, in 2024, given inputs to a United Nations sanctions committee about The Resistance Front (TRF), the proxy outfit of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba that was behind Pahalgam terror attack, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said. Pakistan created pressure and got references to TRF removed from the April 2025 UN Security Council press statement on the April 22nd attack, Misri added.
