Pak govt appoints former army general as new NSA

Pakistan government on Thursday announced the appointment of Retired Lieutenant General Nasser Khan Janjua as the new National Security Advisor (NSA). His new role will entail him to concentrate on security ties with bordering countries India and Afghanistan. Janjua replaced Sartaj Aziz who was holding dual posts, with his other role being Adviser on Foreign Affairs.
