The Pakistani Interior Ministry said that a ban on a Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has been lifted "in the larger national interest". This comes after the government reached an agreement with the Islamist group after nearly two weeks of protests and released hundreds of TLP supporters. TLP's violent protests last month had left 10 people dead.
