Pak plans to build ₹9,600 crore hydropower project in PoK

Pakistan is planning to set up the over ₹9,600-crore Azad Pattan Hydropower Project in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) by 2022, according to reports. The proposed project will have a capacity of 700 MW and will be built with foreign funds, reports added. The project is to be built on the Jhelum river in Sudhanoti district.
