A senior Pakistani police officer, Lahore Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Shariq Jamal, died after consuming alleged aphrodisiac drugs. He was found dead at his flat in Lahore, Punjab province, on Saturday. A woman took him to the National Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
