Pakistan has resumed alcohol exports after nearly 50 years amid economic pressure and forex shortages. Murree Brewery, Pakistan's only locally owned brewery, has begun exporting alcohol to nations outside the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. The move aims to bring in foreign revenue, its export manager Rameez said. Notably, alcohol remains banned for Pakistan’s majority Muslim population.
