A Pakistan Air Force training aircraft crashed near a highway in Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, killing both pilots on board. At least three civilians who were on road at the time were reportedly injured by debris and fire from the wreckage. The jet was said to be on a routine operational training mission when it crashed.
