State Bank of Pakistan and its Ministry of Finance clarified that cryptocurrency transactions remain banned in the nation, Dawn reported. This comes after Pakistan Crypto Council CEO Bilal Bin Saqib announced that the country will be setting up a government-led strategic Bitcoin reserve. Notably, Pakistan Crypto Council signed a deal with US President Donald Trump-backed crypto firm last month.
