Pakistan attempts damage control with Saudi after backtracking on military help against Houthis
Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif spoke to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and condemned Houthi attacks. The call came in an apparent diplomatic damage-control effort after Pakistan stepped back from its military posture against Houthis. Pakistan had earlier said Mecca pact doesn't require a military response to Houthi attacks, despite its defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
