Ex-Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar said he is "saddened" by Pakistan's loss against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 opener. "Pakistan play a very different style of cricket. They don't play the kind of cricket the rest of the world is playing," he added. Akhtar stated that Pakistan don't have an "impact player", adding, "Their strike rate is very low."
