Pakistan has world’s highest stillbirth, neonatal death rates
Pakistan records around 700,000 stillbirths annually, the highest globally, while 42 in every 1,000 newborns die within their first month, giving the country the world's highest neonatal mortality rate. A report also highlighted major health challenges, including unwanted pregnancies, limited family planning access and widespread inability to afford a healthy diet.
