Pakistan government has hiked monthly salaries of National Assembly Speaker and Senate Chairman to PKR 13 lakh from the earlier PKR 2,05,000, marking a 534% hike, Samaa TV reported. Pakistan recently secured a $1 billion IMF bailout amid economic struggles. The top lawmakers will also reportedly get an additional 50% as a temporary allowance over and above the salary.
