Pakistan has reportedly hired a lobbying firm for around $1.2 million to clean its image in the US. The lobbying firm will work to influence members of the US Congress and committees dealing with foreign policy, defence and national security to advance Pakistan's interests. The firm will also "highlight Pakistan's contributions to counterterrorism" and promote US' support for it.
