Pakistan's finance minister informed AFP that the country has initiated discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a three-year, multibillion-dollar loan agreement aimed at backing its economic reform program. This comes as Islamabad nears the completion of a nine-month, $3 billion loan deal with the IMF.
