Pakistan quietly allowed Iranian military aircraft to park at its airbase to shield them from US airstrikes, CBS reported citing US officials. Iran also sent civilian planes to park in neighbouring Afghanistan, however, it was not clear if military planes were among those aircraft, the officials said. Pakistan is acting as a mediator between US and Iran.
