Pakistan has removed the name of Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi from a terrorist watchlist and unfrozen his assets ahead of the general elections in the country. Ludhianvi is the leader of the radical Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) group which has fielded several candidates in the polls. ASWJ's offshoot Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has claimed responsibility for several terror attacks against Shias in Pakistan.
