Pakistan's rupee slumped to a new record low of 300 a US dollar on Thursday. The fall comes amid the military stepping in to squash violent protests that erupted after former Prime Minister Imran Khan's arrest this week. Dollar bonds due 2031 rose from the lowest since November and were indicated at 33.44 cents on the dollar.
