For the first time, Pakistan and Russia have signed an energy deal of $1.7 billion for laying a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) pipeline from Karachi to Lahore. The supply of LNG is likely to start before March, reported a media. Islamabad and Moscow have also inked a defence and military cooperation deal, which may improve ties between the countries.
