Pakistan army chief Asim Munir's recent claim that India approached US for a ceasefire after launching Operation Sindoor was debunked by filings made under a US act. The filings showed that between May 6 and May 9, 2025, Pakistan logged nearly 60 interactions involving US lawmakers, congressional aides, defence-linked personnel, Treasury officials, national security advisers and journalists.
