According to Pakistani officials, Lieutenant General Naseer Khan Janjua will be appointed as Pakistan's National Security Advisor soon. Janjua retired from the military this week and will replace Sartaj Aziz, who also holds the Foreign Affairs post. According to a military source cited by Reuters, Pakistan's army chief felt that Aziz's attention was divided and hence, this decision was made.
