Pakistan rangers on Thursday night violated ceasefire and targeted a border outpost in the RS Pura sector of Jammu. They fired three rounds from small arms, but the Border Security Force (BSF) exercised restraint and did not retaliate. The BSF has sounded a high alert along the border, fearing infiltration from the Pakistani side.
