Senior Pakistani TV journalist Hamid Mir, who faced threats from multiple quarters including the Taliban, was on Saturday shot at Karachi by four unidentified gunmen on way to his office. The 47 year old, who sustained three bullet injuries on lower part of his body, was rushed to hospital where he was operated upon. He is "out of danger" now.
