Pakistan's Shadab Khan and Asif Ali collided near the boundary while attempting a catch during their Asia Cup 2022 final against Sri Lanka. On the last delivery of Sri Lanka's 19th over, Bhanuka Rajapaksa lofted the ball towards deep mid-wicket, where both Asif and Shadab went for the catch. Asif mistakenly parried ball over for a six amid the collision.
