The spectacular landscapes of the Kangra valley wore a white mantle as the upper reaches of the Dhauladhar mountain ranges and the remote Chhota Bhangal and Bara Bhangal valleys received heavy snowfall while lower hills and plains witnessed intermittent rain. Palampur received snowfall after 10 years.
