Harvard University students raised the Palestinian flag at the John Harvard statue, after whom the US university is named. Palestinian flags were also raised in other parts of the campus. Pro-Palestine protests have spread to several US universities, with students demanding a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war and their universities to divest from companies linked with Israel's military.
