Pallavi appeals to Prez Murmu after WB theatres ban 'Bengal Files'

'The Bengal Files' producer Pallavi Joshi appealed for intervention from President Droupadi Murmu after theatres in West Bengal imposed an unofficial ban on the film. She wrote, "I plead for your intervention to uphold my constitutional rights and ensure its release in Bengal." She added, "Theatre owners...are being intimidated...and refuse to screen, fearing violence by ruling party workers."
