Panama is the world's happiest country as it has most satisfied citizens, even though it lags numerous other countries in terms of wealth, according to a new poll conducted by Gallup and Healthways Global. Panama is followed by Costa Rica, Denmark, Austria and Brazil. Surpisingly, the US didn’t make it into the top 10.
